Reflections on Dublin
It’s been an unusually quiet period for me with the camera so to kick-start 2016 I decided to avail of the first photowalk of the year with the Irish Street Photography Group which took place yesterday. This group meets once a month in Dublin and I try to make as many of the outings as I can. Typically around 40 photographers attend. To make ourselves less obvious to the Dublin public, we split into smaller groups before taking to the chosen route. We end the outing by meeting up again for coffee in the Temple Bar area.
This month, the theme we were given to test our powers of observation and creativity, was ‘reflections’. This post features the best shots I was able to come up with on the day, plus a few off-theme efforts I made along the way.
Hope you enjoy. Have a great 2016!
Looks like Leo Varadkar with the coffee in the 4th from bottom 🙂
Actually, now that you mention it…..
Always love to see your street photography John – you’ve got a real feel for it I think.
Thanks Aidy – I really enjoy it, because you never really know what you’re going to get. I’ve a long way to go but learning all the time. There are a couple of people in the group who are seriously world-class which is great inspiration for the rest of us wannabes! 🙂
