A Photo Walk in Kilkenny
I participated in a most enjoyable photo-walk last Saturday in the city of Kilkenny, which is about a 90-minute drive from where I live. Although the day was rather dull, the rain held off and I was pleased to get a good variety of shots covering street, urban and landscape. Below are my favourite shots from the day – including at the end a fun ’tilt-shift’ attempt (which is a kind of toy-town effect) taken in the garden of Kilkenny Castle.
Several of the photos were taken in Rothe House. You can read more about it here: Rothe House.

Two for the price of one. We’ve just had a general election in Ireland, so candidate posters are everywhere!

Roll out the barrels!

I wonder did he spot me?

Great stuff John. Haven’t been in Kilkenny in years – its always nice to get wander round photographing an unfamiliar location.
