Autumn Arrives
With a few days off work this week, I had my first chance to shoot some of the autumnal colours now emerging. Maybe not quite as vibrant yet as last year’s display but still very nice to look at. Regarding location, well it had to be Mount Usher – not just for the colours but also to get some extra value out of season ticket for this year! The gardens close mid-November this year – so maybe a chance for one more visit before the end of the season? In the meantime, I hope you enjoys these autumn scenes from Mount Usher.
Great shots John. Thankfully they’ve more sense than to have gardeners scuttling around sweeping up the leaves.
Thanks Roy. Actually, there were a few gardeners working around the place but thankfully they were clearing out dead wood rather than sweeping up the leaves!
Amazing photos John, the colours you have captured are stunning
Thanks Helen. Glad I took those shots as the colours in Kerry this weekend are not so varied or vibrant.
Beautiful John. I’ve stuggled to find good colour yet this year up here, but these are stunning.
Thanks Aidy. Overall I don’t think the colours are as vibrant as they were this time last year.
What beautiful photos John. Breathtaking. I love the seventh one down with the path strewn with leaves. Autumn is such a magical time and you’ve captured the colours beautifully 🙂
Many thanks Anne-Marie. I love autumn too. I’m glad I got those shots during the week – I’m now down in Kerry and the colours have not been that exciting. I’ve a few more days though to keep exploring 🙂
Beautiful images. I love the saturated color 🙂 Gorgeous.
Thanks very much, Deirdre. I try to resist increasing the saturation but I couldn’t resist cranking these up a notch. 🙂
Its perfect 🙂
