Bray Airshow 2014 – No Planes!
Last Sunday I joined with a group of photographer friends to take photos at the Bray Airshow. Des, our group leader and event organiser, laid down one rule – no photos of airplanes! This makes sense when you take into account that this is a street photography group.
Street photography is far from easy, and I am far from good at it. But I do enjoy the experience and the challenge – and I always hold out the hope of bagging one good shot from each outing.
I didn’t get any really outstanding shots last Sunday. Nonetheless I hope you enjoy the selection below from a great day out – and I hope it gives you a flavour of what the Bray Airshow is like, apart from the planes! I would be interested to know which is your favourite shot. Feel free to leave a comment and let me know 🙂
Nice collection John. Bray was a bit busier than the last time I was there, doing a little jog from the DART station over to Greystones. My favourite pic is the dude in the Rasta hat among the army boys.
Pink Ribbon 😊
Patience was the key to getting that shot!
Thanks Roy. ‘Rasta Hat’ seemed like a bit of a character!
