All At Sea
It’s 6 months since my ‘vacance en France’ and despite processing my photos quite quickly on returning home, until now I haven’t gotten around to putting together any blog posts about it. However, that is about to change!
This is the first in a series of posts about my time in France last September. But, as they say, the journey is as important as the destination (well, almost!). So, in acknowledgement of that, here are some photos I took on the journey from Ireland to France – Rosslare to Cherbourg on board the “Oscar Wilde”. As you will see, the very grey skies of Ireland gave way overnight to the wonderful summery blue skies of France. Aside from departure and arrival, there obviously isn’t too much by way of scenery at sea. As a result, I resorted to some maritime ‘street’ photography!

You’ve invented a whole new genre of photography John!
I doubt very much it will ever catch on, Aidy!
